Private beta

Plan the food before the barrels get packed.

Paddle2Plate simplifies camping trip food planning by turning your meals into store-grouped shopping lists with the right quantities, while also creating packing lists so nothing gets forgotten the morning of departure.

This is a private beta. Access is limited to Google accounts that have been added to a household. Email for access if you need an account added.

How it works

  1. Create a household. Your household keeps trips, meals, ingredients, stores, and packing preferences together.
  2. Add users. Household owners can add Google email addresses for the people who should have access.
  3. Create your stores. Define where you prefer to buy ingredients so shopping lists are grouped logically.
  4. Create storage locations at home. Add locations like pantry, fridge, freezer, or camping bins so packing lists are sorted where items live.
  5. Create your meals. Add meals manually, or use the Meal Import Wizard to take a photo with your phone or paste recipe text. AI structures the recipe, creates ingredients, and tries to reuse existing ingredients instead of creating duplicates.
  6. Create a trip. Attach meals to each food slot, adjust quantity multipliers, then generate shopping and packing lists.

Ingredient logic

After importing or creating meals, update ingredients with optional unit of measure, preferred store, and preferred storage location.

Ingredients can appear differently on the pack list than they do in the recipe. For example, raw chicken in a recipe can become cooked chicken on the pack list.

Ingredients can also be excluded from the pack list. If you cook and dehydrate five ingredients into one sauce, pack only the sauce instead of every raw ingredient.
